PROJECT
PROPOSAL: HDC
has developed a national building plan in order to eliminate the need for
government housing. To banish poverty in our great nation. The project that we
have developed will guarantee that every American will live in a descent
neighborhood, will have pride in themselves as well as where they live. This
project will have every inner city and low-income person living in a home in
which they will own. With or without government assistance. Through our low incoming ownership program, HDC helps low income family
achieve the American dream of owning their first home. Our program is setup into
two different categories. These are based on income only. HDC has to different
types of housing that are built for low-income families. The first group of
housing is single-family homes. The second group of housing is multiple family
homes. To help achieve the goals of home ownership HDC will retain the ownership
of these homes for the first two years of the project to give each family time
to build equality in their homes. Then after the second year anniversary the
families will sign a new low mortgage loan at 45% below market value of their
home. All monies paid to HDC for the first two years will serve as the down
payment for their new loan therefore the family have no out of pocket expense
and no closing cost. This in turn will now give them full ownership of their new
home. HDC will pledge to supply all maintenance grounds up keeping for the
neighborhood community project for the next five year to guarantee the quality
of the community. Then at a reduce rate for the next 15 years, HDC will work
with the community to keep the up keep and property value at its best for the
equality of life. HDC's
innovative Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) provides funding to
neighborhood councils within our core target area for community improvement
projects. Since the inception of the NRP in 2003 we have sponsored about 122
projects utilizing roughly $80,000 in NRP funds. This activity has leveraged
almost $168,000 in other funding and approximately $60,000 in donated labor and
materials. All funds for the Neighborhood Revitalization Program are raised
locally. Our low-income housing project will also create jobs. HDC will higher workers to maintain the grounds of the community to run the community centers that are built in these communities. These will be people that live within the community that will work in the community the daycare center, the schools, shops, and parks. With all these concepts in place HDC see a future with out government housing or poverty.
